Ethics TrainingPurpose
In daily life, we witness many complaints about the functioning of institutions. Some of these complaints are that officials do not apply existing rules as they should; that some officials take personal advantage in the provision of services; that not all people are treated the same in the use of services; that some people are favored. The complaints are based on non-compliance with generally accepted codes of ethics, some of which are subject to legal regulation. This training aims to help employees to overcome ethical problems they may encounter in the course of their work. It is designed to provide basic information about morality and ethics, to introduce, even if briefly, ways of thinking about morality, and to illustrate the main debates about morality for those who aspire to a deeper reflection on the subject. The aim of this training is to increase awareness and dimensionalize the perspective by finding clues and examples of a deeper reflection on morality and ethics, which we frequently use and hear in daily life and which we discuss from time to time.
